Clementine Blakemore and Studio MAY set a high bar for this renovation and extension of a working farmhouse and stable block in rural Dorset. Local materials, low carbon construction, and a level of detail that required every maker in the project to be serious about what they were doing.

Somer delivered the ground floor kitchen, island, and utility, eighteen units in European Oak, working alongside Dinesen flooring and British Crawford Limestone. The modular system adapted to the demands of a complex, multi-phase project without compromising the finish. Integrated handles, stainless steel and oak worktops, nothing that doesn't belong.

A project where the material choices were made with conviction from the ground up, and the joinery had to match.
